Cain held his son. The baby girgled and smiled. DG watched from the library door. " They want me to go through with the wedding. You'll still be able to see Will. They don't trust you."


He rocked his son in his arms. " Do you trust me? Want me? Love me?"

" I never stopped."

" Marry me instead."

" Why? If it's for Will..."

" I was an idiot. I  thought ....I regret my actions after we made love. I regret not holding your hand during your labor with our son. I regret not being there to hold him after you birthed him. I regret not marrying you. Mostly I regret not showing and telling you how much I love and need you. Ditch the prince and marry me , you know you want to."

The baby cooed. " See even our son agrees. Besides when did you do what people wanted ?"

" Shortly after you broke my heart."

" Well I'm here to mend it."

" If you ever leave ..."

" Only death will seperate me from you and even then I'll be protecting you."

" Well then we have a wedding to attend , don't we? Jeb's here."

" Good I need my best man. " He looked at his little boy. " Both my best men."

The Shiz Prince was shooed off ,especially after Jeb and his girlfriend told the royal family the prince's true intentions. DG and Cain were married and ten months later Deborah Glinda was born. Jeb and his maid girlfriend married not long after.
