Cain looked at his wrist. " Where's the handcuffs? " He then muttered." Damn ,she was easier to keep track of with those."

" I heard that!" DG huffed.

Billina chuckled."Its true."

DG walked over to Cain." Tik-Tok has a plan."

Cain looked unimpressed." The small,fat robot has a plan."

Tik-Tok slowly walked over. " If I was programmed to feel,that would hurt."

" Cain,you hurt the robot's feelings!"

" Deege,he just said he doesn't have feelings!"

"It's still harsh. Anyway , he has a plan and we should follow him."

Cain looked at her seriously." I'm not jeopardizing your safety ,Princess."

" Cain, didnt you notice a lack of weapons and stop calling me princess! For Pete's Sake we made out !"

" A.) I was too busy trying to keep you safe to count weapons.B.) When we're talking about your well-being ,Princess,I will call you Princess.C.) Who's Pete? and D.) ..." Cain looked down and lowered his tone." Princess is term of endearment as well."

The last part made DG grin. " Princess is starting to sound good. They're unarmed Cain.I think their more scare tactic than actual threat."

Cain groaned,he still didn't like the idea.

"Plus,we're better together than apart.Havn't we been separated long enough?" DG's eyes glistened with tears.

Cain pulled her close and kissed her forehead. " Yeah." His eyes turned to Tik-Tok." Lead the way."

Tik-Tok waddled his way out the entry way while Cain,protectively holding DG , and Billina followed behind.

" Where are they?" Billina asked.

" They're here. Watching, waiting to strike." Cain answered.

" That's not comforting." Billina remarked.

They make it to the stairs when the Wheelers appear surrounding them quickly." Go up the stairs. Protect her. I will hold them back." Tik-Tock said.

They look at him like he's crazy but do what he said. As they reach the top they are met with more Wheelers.Cain holds DG so close it's like they are one not two people. They look back to see Tik-Tok....hitting the Wheelers with one of their lunch pails....and winning.

DG laughs." I told you they were scare tactics!" Cain only grumbles. The Wheelers look at Cain ,who's face now resembles that of a grizzly bear, and they start heading off but not before Cain grabs one to interrigated.

" Please let me go!'' The Wheeler begs.

"No." Cain simply states.

" Please! The Princess will hurt me!" The Wheeler cries.

" Im not gonna hurt you." DG said defensively.

" Not you! Princess Mombi." The Wheeler replies.

" Who's Princess Mombi? " Dg asks Cain.Cain shrugs not knowing. DG turns her attention back to the Wheeler." What happed to the Gales?"

" I won't tell you!" he says. Cain pulls at his ears." Okay,okay! The Knome King hid Queen Dorothy somewhere. She's under a spell asleep.That's all I know."

" This is true." Tik-Tok adds." The Queen's husband and the rest of the kingdom were turned to stone shortly after.Before he was turned the Scarecrow ,Dorothy's husband made me to help you. He said he had found a way to reach his wife's reincarnation...sort of."

" Sort of." DG said.

" Well he said there had been some...glitches." Tik -Tok said.

"Ooookay.Reincarnation? So I'm not only Dorothy's great-great granddaughter but I'm her reincarnated."

" Yes." Tik-Tok answered.

DG looked shocked then amused. " Who is this Scarecrow,her husband?"

Cain piped in." I don't think this is the best place for a chat."

DG looked disappointed." Your right. Mr. Wheeler will you take us to this Princess Mombi?"

The Wheeler yelled " No!." Cain pulled at the ears again." Okay,okay. Sheesh! Your almost worse than the Princess!"
